My brother is 12 and it's summer vacation at the moment. Every minute he's awake and on the computer, he always on the world of pixilated crap! My ankle has been swollen.?

My ankle has been swelling and looks reddish/bluish in the area and warm. It's not hurting but achy! It's been like this for about 2 years. Too many doctors. One said it's gout/gouty arthritis, another one said it's tendonitis. The only thing that makes the swelling go down is cortizone injection. I had blood tests done but there's no sign of uric acid or kidney problems. I don't remember any injury to it. I'm getting tired of going to the doctors. It's getting very expensive and I'm not getting any answer cuz noone can seem to pinpoint the problem. What's wrong with my ankle?

Hello, I just started my freshman year in High school, and my school is divided into "houses" (different parts of the school), and my locker is in North House, and is #500. Why do most X-Men movies have the worst plots?

I watch all of them even X-men origins. X-men 2 was an okay movie in my book. But X-men 1 and 3 both have dumb *** plots. I mean the first one made it more about Rogue then it did the other X-men mutants. Then X-men 3 was about Jean Grey not willing to control her powers, so then Magneto dependent on her to fight his battles, and then they killed off Cyclops, Professor Xavier, and even Jean Grey. What the hell is wrong with me?

My mood swings are driving me crazy. I am so unstable. I get into these moods where i LOVE life, I love everyone, I want to do everything, i want to EAT everything, and buy everything, and I can't stop smiling. And then, one little thing someone does, it can be seemingly sooo insignificant... like my boss treating me rudely, or my friend making a snide comment about me...and suddenly its as if a dark cloud has ped over my life. I often have suicidal thoughts ociated with these feelings, and have even gone so far as to write my suicide letter. I also use to cut myself but am over that now. It is for a biology practicle test i have to complete at school, so it has to be relatively easy to conduct. It also has to be easy to draw conclusions form, as I have to write a report about it. The best thing I can tell you is to change it to 2 for now. The screwed up thing and the one thing I hate is you only get one 1099R unless you or they make a change to it. Now if you change it to 2 they should reflect a new 1099R on mypay showing the new exemptions. Go back and look and see if it put the $70.00 or close to it back into your take home pay. If not bump it to 3. I think 2 exemptions will do it though or get you really close. Just go in increments and see what happens the following month. Or you could bump it to 3 now and if it is too much then knock it back down to 2. Just stick with the numbers and that will get you there. If you just put married you will end up having about 0 taken out of your check. That's the new stimulus, give you all your money now then stick you with the same taxes at the end of the year as a nice surprise. Screwed me two years in a row.

I've been physically/mentally abused for 16 yrs. How do I get out of it?

For the past 16 years I've been abused. When I was 5 they beat me and my brother with a metal pipe for not being able to fall asleep. Everytime me and my brother would get into a little argument, they stuck needles in the palms of our hands. When my Dad went out of the country for family stuff, my mom beat the **** out of me because I wouldn't let her have her keys to go drinking. When I was a 4th grader, she didn't come home one night because she got caught for drunk driving. Any thing they could get their hands on, brooms, butcher knives, spatulas, scissors, etc. My mom even once threw a fan at my head. I am 16 now, a planned 3 year graduate from highschool, my GPA is above 3.8+, I am a good student, I have a good paying job. I don't ask my parents for anything. I am still getting abused. This morning I woke up with a really bad headache that I felt that I could not go to school. My mom jumped on me and started to choke and scratch me. I'm done with this shiit. I really am. They keep telling me to get the **** out of the house and that's what I'm planning on doing. I have a place to live with a friend who has a back house. My brother is planning on moving out with me also. He is 18. They are complete control freaks and everything has to be their way. I am scared that if I do move out and show them I am capable of living on my own without them and they have no more control over me, they will call the cops and say that I am a runaway. I am 17 weeks pregnant , last LMP was 08-03-10. I have had spottingon april 29 which lasted for few hrs. Since then I have been inserting crinone 8% once at night.At week 13 I had extreme shooting contraction like pains in the left groin for a day after which i bled the next morning with dark colored clots.I was hospitalized and was given intravenous duvadilan drips for 48 hrs. The bleeding stopped in few hrs of hospitalization & pain after few days. The sonography showed a healthy baby and os closed.All blood tests were carried and reports were normal.I m continuing with duvadilan twice a day, crinone gel once at night ga in case of gastric, prenatal & shell cal (both given from 24 june),also i was on moderate bed rest, cervix birth c mesured 3.1 cms. on 16 weeks scan as against 3.7 on week 13.Again on 28 I got cramps this time milder and the doctor adviced duvadilan at intervals of 8 hrs and rest and it has helped so far.As per doc there is no evident reason for bleeding as everything is normal. The pain i get is over an inch place from left side of mid genital to the thigh join making left leg heavy and painful.NOtes:-I have undergone a disc prolapse surgery in 2005 for S1-L5 where i felt numbness in left leg.-i have gone for appendix operation at 5 yrs age-i had itp for few months at the age of 9 yrs and its completely cured.-i conceived normally within 1 month of plannning-my anomaly scan and triple test results are also normal.-I HAVE A FIBROID of 45*42 mm in anterior wall on lower part.-placenta is anterior-tlc was 13.8, rest thyroids,sugar everything is normal-I had 4 days before the bleeding, can it be the cause-i bled when i switched to susten instead of crinone.questions:-what could be possible reason for bleeding and pains-how much is the chance to carry to term,-should i be on bed rest, is my cervix length within range, i am only 5 ft in height-in which organ am i witnessing pain?-can i go for normal delivery-is there chance of preterm labor, how to avoid it.i am highly stressed as i want to have this child.

Jeep liberty Throttle body cleaning?

I have a 06 jeep liberty that feels a bit stiff/sticky on the gas pedal. It's a V6 MPI. Would it still have a normal Throttle body/erfly in the air intake ? I have never worked on a car with Multi port injection but I would love to get a smoother feeling gas pedal. Any suggestions? I tried spraying the hinge at the top of the accelerator pedal with silicone lubricant didn't really fix the sticky feeling.

I have a severe sore throat with phlegm and severe headache?

Furnace runs out of sequence?

It is a 2 stage gas furnace w/central air, the first fan comes on, the furnace ignites, the furnace runs for a short time then the flame stops the fan blower stops then the first fan that has been running the whole time, shuts off and starts rite back up and the whole thing starts over until the thermostat clicks when the temp is reached. It is heating the house fine but is running all the time.It is 3 yrs old and has never done this before

She was walking around all morning until about 12 or 1 pm, ate some food, then went to sleep for a couple hours. She woke up and was meowing and walking around, then went back to sleep. I am 25, and I suffer from heavy bleeding, and severe pain in my left side. I recently was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid and an enlarged uterus. The doctor told me I could have an ablation, which there is an 85% chance it would work, or I could have a hysterectomy which would offer me a 100% result. I am needing advice on both of the surgeries. I have 3 kids, so I am done with that part. I just need advice as to the best choice to make. I'm 30 years old and I have had moderate acne since I was 10 years old. Right about age 29 my acne started to clear and I was like "Score! I'm finally going to have clear skin!" On no particular regimen, my skin clear beautifully for about a year. Then, about 3 weeks after I turned 30, The acne was back worse than it had EVER been. It was not on my back & shoulders! I'm trying to be cool about it but its really killing my self esteem. I know I am a great person, but when I am out in public I feel like people are looking at my skin when they talk to me. It's honestly getting to te point that I don't want to go places. It seems the older I get the more scars my acne leaves. So now I'm battling the acne & the scars they leave behind (whether I pick at them or not). I am the only one in my family and the only one of my friends who still has acne. I have been to the dermatologist who admits that my acne is mild, but if that's the case why won't it clear up?! I've tried every acne medication that has an infomercial and currently I'm doing Pro Activ, previously on a strict twice a day Cetaphil cleansing with Benzoyl Peroxide 10%. How does one attach a charm to a W490 motorola cell phone?

I looked up on several sites how to attach charms to most phones (Through holes either in the top or the side), but my phone does not seem to have any holes in it, nor does it have a little antennae to loop the charm's string/chain around. Why does everyone think boundaries are good and that they work?

Somehow it seems that the christian idea of boundaries governs everything. Once married there are 'rules' to stifle natural urges and to dictate behavior in a given situation. Overlooking the fact that life expectancy has dramatically changed in the last 75 years, the modern world seems to take such rule bound scrutiny less and less well. Tips on singing?

I'm trying to steady my voice and make it stronger, and before my performances I have rituals: First I'll eat spicey foods and drink tea with honey, ('cause it seems like the ginger and pepper soften my voice) and then I'll do the usual warm ups, and I follow up with putting something that vibrates (don't make fun of me or be perverted, I'm not talking about vibrators!) on my throat and singing with it on me. Meatball recipe that includes sausage?

I use to have a meatball recipe, which called for part turkey burger and part italian sausage. I always substituted the turkey for ground beef but always used the italian sausage. It was a very simple recipe ... I wanna say maybe just parm cheese, egg, the meat, bread crumbs ... etc. I lost it though when we had our fire this summer. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Why is it ok to use video replay in soccer after a game but not during?

Its because all the governing bodies FIFA, UEFA all the FAs etc don't understand football! They don't seem to understand that video evidence can be used throughout the game to make decisions in split seconds and this is all because they have never tried it properly. They could easily make a deal with Sky Sports or someone to do all these re plays in seconds. This would also take alot of the pressure of referees and not end up with the situation like in scotland where the refs are all about to strike due to the criticism they have recieved. try a desert landscape. it's fairly easy and not terribly expensive if you do it yourself. choose a good tree. something well-suited to your climate as the center piece. then choose about 10-15 different size shrubs to dot the rest of the landscape. if you choose drought tolerant plants you can use a dripper system that saves lots and lots of water. they're also very easy and inexpensive to lay down and maintain vs. a traditional pvc system. the rest of the landscape (i.e. the dirt) will be covered over with quarry rock. it kinda looks like the driveway is already done that way. you can choose a similar rock or something different. the only problem may be with weeds. if you have very fertile soil you may have to lay down plastic sheeting before the rock otherwise you'll end up pulling weeds way to often.

Worried about 9mo baby?

My softball team took region undefeated, now we are going to state, our school colors are blue and gold so, everyone is dyeing a part of their hair blue. I have naturally very blonde hair and blue eyes, what would look cool and not that wild. Why is it that history teachers and some schools in general label the pre-Confederate south 'Evil' for slaves?

Modern teachers are judging our ancestors by today’s standards. Standards they were taught by ivory tower liberal professors in college. By the standards of the mid-1800’s, both North and South, those same teachers would not fare any to well either. It is not really fair to judged other cultures or times strictly by the standards you are raised with. There are almost always extenuating cirstances that, if you do not live in the culture or time, you cannot understand or appreciate. I come from a long line of abolitionists and if I had lived during that time I would almost have certainly enlisted with the Union forces to fight against slavery. But as a history buff I understand there is another side to the argument.
