Mp3 player on phone plays tracks in alphabetical/numerical order: can this be changed?

chapters of audio books play in the order 1, 10, 11, 12...19, 2, 20, etc, and some albums play tracks in alphabetical order, which ruins them. Is there a way of locking the track order please, thanks.
