Is going to college really necessary?

ive been in college about a year now and im having a really hard time, with financial aid and all that, ive been to two different schools already, my credits are not gettng transfered, it seems like everything is goin wrong, im startin to think maybe college isnt for me...maybe i should take a different path,but is it possible to succeed without college?
