Why do liberals seem to align with Islam , and abhor the Christian fundamentalist?

im a liberal (hate the Democratic Party tho, they're a scam) and i am totally against the ideals of Islamic justice. too vengeful for me. i love peace, i dont think muslims are better just because they're a people of color like SOME liberals do
